In my latest daydreams, I wake up on a warm October Saturday morning in my retro themed apartment in the centre of Paris next to my cat Dusty who is curled up at the bottom of the bed.
I get up, put my glasses on, make myself a black Americano and sit at my writing desk with an almond croissant. I’m working on my latest book, my last one has recently been published and I’m turning it into a fantasy book series. Dusty is curling up on her cushion on the floor next to my desk.
I’ve been writing for a couple of hours now so I decide it’s time for a break. I head over to my Parisian themed wardrobe and pick out my outfit. I put on a black dress with a paisley print, little black Chelsea boots, a red coat and I put on my chic black floppy hat before heading out. I take a stroll round the streets of Paris and stop off to read The Picture of Dorian Grey by the Canal Saint-Martin with my lunch of another black Americano and a cheese and tomato sandwich. The leaves on the trees are beginning to turn into a crisp orange and the local buskers are performing acoustic songs… In reality, I’m just at my desk in the office staring into space.
