R.I.P. Harper Lee

Last Friday I was aimlessly scrolling through my phone, when my eyes skimmed over the news that announced my idol’s death. That’s it. Gone. At the age of now 89, I shouldn’t feel sad, she achieved so much and lived a long, successful life. I wish that someday I’ll have even a fraction of her literary success.

To Kill A Mockingbird is one of the best novels written. Ever. It makes you feel like a young carefree child again. It doesn’t even matter that it’s set in 1930s Alabama and I grew up in 1990s London, some how it still makes you feel nostalgia.

Anyway, I just wanted to say R.I.P. Harper Lee and that writers never truly die, their legacy lives on through their stories.
